Did you replace the coil after the problem started? You may have blown the coil when the distributor was messed up.

There is a wire plug (2 pin) Hanging over the ecu... You can use a paper clip or piece of wire to jump so it runs a loop. Then turn the key. The CEL will flash the codes. quick flash= 10 long flash= 1 there will be a longer pause inbetween codes.
