need help on front lip

ok so i have a em2, and im bout to pick up a 2000 civic lip to go on,, should i get the mugen lip, or the type r lip, keep in mind the type r lip goes perfect with the rear bumper!

Haha I went with the type r. I didn't like the way the Phil lip looked where it screwed in on bumper. It was to bulky

Does a front lip offer any benefit other than aesthetics?
