need help removing tube for stock intake... pics

hey so i put in my new intake and there is still a "U" shaped tube in the way and im not sure how to remove it. could someone please tell me how i can take this thing off.

its the thing thats right in front of the filter and to the right of it..

Take off your front bumper and you will see the rest of it. Its only a few bolts holding it in place.
