New 2014 Honda Civic Si owner with lots o' questions

I started my driving life in a 1993 Honda Accord SE, and took it to 300,000 miles with out requiring any major repairs. Then I moved to a 2001 Hyundai Tiburon, which I drove for 14 years. My experience gave me enough motivation to switch back to Honda.

I must say, cars have changed a hell of a lot in 13 years, and I had to actually read the instruction manual. Now, I am a pretty technical savvy person, but this is going to take some getting use to. I am sure I will ask a lot of technology questions.

My main question as of right now (which I probably will post in a different thread, but might as well leave it here) is if I have NO plans to purchase the Navigation, is there any point in me buying the HondaLink car kit?
I am kinda bummed there is no "test" model available at my store. I do not want to commit to spending $99 for something I may not use.

Has anyone found the adapter for a cheaper price?

I'm 99.999% sure you are the only person on this site with a 2014 Civic, so your chances of find someone with the same dilemma as you are very slim. Welcome to the site though.

Eva Green was hot as f*** in Casino Royal btw.

Took a quick look, and it seems that if you have no plan on getting the navigation, it's pointless to go with Hondalink

Please do make another thread. We ask that the questions remain out in the tech forum and that this section stay as a welcome/introduction area. :thumbs up
