New Help..Swap or build up?99civic..D16Y8

I have a 1999 Civic Ex with the d16y8....
And I need help deciding between swapping or building up
Here's the facts
I can get a H22 for 300 its mint and has 1300 miles on it
Or i can build up the d16
I really dont know what to do so ill turn to the pro's at CC
So any suggestions?????

Yea everything...My friends brother lets just say he's gone and he wont be coming back for the engine anytime soon.
They put it in last summer in there honda the kid striped the cpu and broke it then said f**k honda and bought a vw.
So its just sitting there waitin for me.

if its a complete h22 swap which i dont believe.....300 is the f**king deal of a lifetime. why r u even asking. ull run through 300 bucks with header/intake on a d series.

if the h22 is true, 300 is a great price. even if it doesnt come with no ecu or no tranny. you can later piece everything together and gain WAY more power.

Depends on the shop. If you have any buds that are knowledgeable it can be done in a weekend barring any serious issues.
