2 days before the race the motor spun a bearing on the dyno. It was a forged piston set up with a bad ass head. Would have made amazing power, but then due to the lack of time, we threw together the vitara set up because its what we had laying around

thats crazy impressive....ok imma a total noob when it comes to drag. why do you do that 1st lil mini burn out before each run? is it just a test launch or something?

the burnout cleans the slicks off (from rocks, etc) and it heats them up so they are somewhat sticky.
