nice subs

a friend of mine got a sony 1200 watt sub and the 1000 watt sony amp and it sounds like he has a bunch of subs. sounds pretty good what do you people think of sony?

i got a 1200 watt sony amp. but i can tell you one thing, sony over rates the wattage on their products, your friends 1200 watt sub and the 1000 watt sony amp arent really at 1200 and 1000 watts. but it still sounds pretty tight.

rockford fosgates! Thats what i got, they are decent. I didnt buy them brand new so i dont know what they are like new, but im sure they are bomb

i got alpine speakers in my doors and they arent too bad ... my infiniti references i got in the back are a lot better though.

oh i know! but for real, sony can't compete with kicker, jl, and etc.. i mean isn't all of there wattages rates at no less than 4 ohms? like kicker is mostly 2 and 1 ohms....

i dunno about wattage rates and all that s**t but i blew my friends accord with 2 sony xplod subs and like 1000 watt xplod amp out of the water with my 2 kicker comps and shitty 760w soundstorm amp.

HAHAHA! and i believe it too. kicker has some good s**t. my 600.1 amp came with a lil certificate stating how much the amp really put out and it said 755, so kicker really underrates their amps

i just picked up a kenwood 2ch 600w amp ... so once i sell the regular comp i got for sale imma get 2 vr 12's

JL are good but i'm going to have to go with kicker, i have two kicker comp vr's and the own, nothing compares, i threw in a dynamat trunk kit and wow!

hmmm interesting... a lot of bashing on sony... their new CD players are decent. ive not had any returned to my store since ive sold them... thats been about 8 months now..
