o2 sensor

i had my car on the lift the other day and i realized when the previous owner removed my cat all he did was electrical tape my o2 sensor to something under the car so its not in the flow of the exhaust i am wondering if anyone knows the proper way to fix this? or something practical and easy?

Have you considered purchasing a cat and reinserting the O2 sensor into the exhaust system?

i dont want to put the cat back in because it sounds great without it, i was just wondering if there is a way to remove or put the 02 sensor back in without a new cat

if it has the o2 simulator and no cel codes leave it alone. if you have a cel get an o2 simulator
