Can I keep my motor obd0 and have vtec if i were to use a z6 head?

if you hook up a way to engage/disengage vtec, sure.

there are multiple ways of doing so, some better than others. anything from a rpm activated switch to a vafc or running a one wire vtec setup from a chipped ecu will work. but best way of doing so is to use a obd0 to obd1 conversion harness paired with a p28 ecu.

i have done it off a switch worked for awhile untill i launched it and held vtech for 2 gs to 7gs and threw a rod bearing i was 15 dumb mistake
