oil change and my speedo quits and check engine light comes on!

please explain, im new to cars and getting more hands on with them. not sure what exactly your referring to.

Did you check to see what your check engine code was throwing. Maybe from there you can figure out what the problem is. Pull back the carpet under the dash on the passenger side to expose your ECU (computer) then put the key in and turn the key to the on position (do not crank the car up.) Count the number of blinks. Short blinks count as one. (i.e. - - - - =4) Long blinks count as 10 (i.e. ---- - - = 12) let us know what you get

alright, well i found the screws, took off the cover, and yep, that wire was unplugged. aparently it got pulled out. thanks guys, couldnt have figured it out myself.

sorry no, some fool gave me 50.00 for it saturday,,, besides the gauges transformer for the indi's were destroyed thanks to my gf during middle of last week, so i didn't want to rip you off.
