2002 Em2 Oil Pump O-Ring
Is replacing the O-Ring as simple as taking those bolts off and pulling the oil pump off, flipping it over, and swapping the seal? I mean, is the oil pump actually two pieces? I want to avoid dropping the oil pan to unbolt the oil pickup?. Also, is it necessary to drain the oil first before doing this job? Please enlighten me as to if I am headed in the right direction. This will be my third getting into the timing belt area to fix my oil leak. Thanks in advance!!
