Opinions on an aftermarket sunroof

alright so i want to install a sunroof on my 96 dx since it doesnt come with one.. you guys think its a good idea or is there alot of problems with it?

i wouldnt do it my boy did it on his midori hatch and it leaked like crazy after like three months

Depends on who does the install. I had a local company put one in a k5 blazer I had and I loved it. Had the truck for 10 years before I sold it. Never had a problem.

Wasn't cheap though. You get what you pay for, especially with something like this.

I'd say just get rid of it and get an ex it'll be much better since it already comes with power mirrors, locks, windows, and maybe fogs.

Get a roof from an ex and swap the whole roof...

If you're going to do that make sure it's all OEM. Make sure you had the drain plugs and everything otherwise it's going to leak all the time and get all over your interior because the water will have nowhere else to go.

Pull the rain rails and drill spot welds. Put the new one in and weld it up. Wa la!

yup. its pretty easy actually. Getting the seam seal off is the worst part of the whole thing
