painting abs plastic

Hey dudes!

I need some advice on whats the best way to paint abs plastic, I got 3 things I need to get painted (eye lids, grill and front lip). Is there any way to make it a do it yourself project whitout using an air gun (spray paint) or it's best to take it to a body shop ?????

Do they make clear coat that doesn't get all white looking after you apply it (spray can)?

a body shop is your best bet but you can diy it and have great results. just make sure you do a lot of prep work and take your time. spray many light coats instead of fewer heavy coats. heres a quick list of some materieals you'll need:
adhesion promoter
primer
color matched paint
clear coat
various sandpapers(400, 800, 1000, 1500, 2000 grit)
prep wipes
rubbing compound

ive done a few items like mirrors grilles eyelids and other little things and they've come out great

also the humidity and temperature can affect the resluts which can make your clear look milky white
