well simce we are on the subject... i have a few dos and donts id at least THINK about before painting brake components..
to me.. painting stock brakes some loud obnoxious color like red... draws attention away from the rest of the car and redirects it to your STOCK brakes... which is IMHO stupid.. painting brake components black, gray, etc to make them more clean looking.. is not bad, but anything like yellow, red, orange.. why do it??? and PLEASE dont EVER paint rear drums anything except black.. it looks like s**t.. the only time i think you can ever get away with painting stock calipers red, is if you have some sick big slotted, or cross drilled rotors..
