Painting the dashboard?

I was curious... if i wanted to change the color of my dash board, what would be the best procedure to paint it and be able to keep it looking like it was originaly the new color, and would cleaning the new color with armor all products ruin the new paint?

Sorry, not good at fabrication stuff... only mechanical.

make sure to take the dash completely out
they make interior paint so get the color you want out of the selection
and spray
might want to let it sit a day or so so that you dont accidentally leave finger prints or anything

^^^^they even have paint for the carpet but ya make sure its not to hot out or will just run everywhere

just prep it and clean well also. some spray adhesion promotion wouldnt be a bad idea

spray adhesion is key, i used some duplicolor vinyl and fabric paint for my dash and it looks stock
