i have a b18a1 im going to be swapping into my hatch along with some other goodies. im trying to raise the compression of the block but im not trying to do much to it so i want to keep as much OEM as possible becasuse the motor is going to be going into my girls car when my h is ready. ne ways i was looking to into going with pr3. or .25 oversized itr or ctr pistons. can someone who has experience with this lend me some tips or suggestions. and what kind of compression would i be looking at?

thanks in advance

i did search this but nothing really answered my questions directly so sorry if this has been done before

i dont know with the b18 head, but the pr3 head and pistons on a b18 have a CR of about 11.2. hope that helps a bit

lol, you could just give him a link

Calculate your compression, CLICK HERE

CTR pistons aren't a bad way to go if you arent lookin for some serious all motor work, reallistically though it's a waste of time even puttin any pistons into the b18a/b motor... i'd just leave it be and pick up a turbo kit for it

the only pistons that will fit on ls rods (without machining) are b16 pistons. itr/gsr/ctr etc all require that both the rod and piston be machined to mate up.
