Planning on starting some mods on my 2010 Civic LXS. Need some help.

Ok, so I have a grey 2010 Honda LXS, and I have been planning on doing some modifications to it. I mainly have plans for the interior. As a loyal Honda customer (previous car was a 1995 Honda Accord EX and both my parents and brother drive Hondas) I have come to find that the stock stereo in a Honda usually sucks, so I plan to change that out first. The problem is, I have no idea where to start. I really would like to change the head unit and add a GPS unit as well, like in the EX models, but I don't know if that is possible, and I don't know where I could find a replacement radio board for it. Also, what would probably be the best replacement speakers? I was just wondering if anyone could help me out on starting this project. Thanks for any replies!

I have an 07 and the sound system is good just the way it is. You'll need to get a whole new dash piece in order to put a double din in.

that would work too
