Port matching TB to IM

I was informed that port matching the TB to the IM will improve the car's performance. Is there any truth to this?

I have a d15b engine and only mods are short ram intake, headers and full 2" exhaust.

it will a little but not by much. Waht stolle did was port match his y8 mani to a h23 TB.

depends on the rest of your setup, on a high compression motor with a considerable amount more power then stock.....yes, you want as smooth a flow as possible, considering your motor is most likely stock, no, dont bother wasting your money, go buy hamburgers or tacos with it, me gusta tacos mucho

How about installing an adjustable cam gear and having it tuned properly. Would that be a better option?

on a STOCK cam, no, installing an adjustable cam gear on a stock cam is useless.......diu SAVE your money, buy an aftermarket cam like a ZEX cam, those have had REAL good results on SOHC motors
