question about intake manifold.....

i have a 99 civic EX manual(just converted from auto) and I still need a manual intake manifold(the 99-00 had a different intake manifold for auto and manual). i was wondering if a 98 civic EX manual intake manifold would still work?

If I am not mistaken the 98 engines were still d16y8s, so its the same manifold that came on the 99s

Theres an extra vaccum port on the 99-00 manifolds, but it can be capped off for applications below 99.

u can tap into another vacuum port with a T i believe

try asking on honda-tech.com, i dont think anyone here can help.. most people dont even know that the y8 motor for auto and manual have different intake manifolds..
