What is the benfit of running a GSR block with a B16 head instead of a GSR head and block or B16 head and block? Please explain.

poor man type r. b16 or type r head better air flow, but all vtec head somewhat the same lil diffrence. not noticable

a b16 head is better flowing than the gsr head. Not to mention you have a better intake manifold since it doesn't have butterfly flaps.

not only the better flowing head but the displacement of a 1.8l block
