quick question

so i want to purchase a rear spoiler for my civic coupe ,my avatar is my car, but i heard that there is brackets that one can purchase to raise the original spoiler up, is this true? please if anyone could let me know it will be greatly appreciated, in SA the rear spoiler for the car is about 2-3k which would be about 180-200 us dollars. so thats really pricy for me just for a spoiler, the brackets that i hear about people say its R450.00 which is about $54.

its a hatch back and ive heard of no such brackets that would raise it up since its edges are "molded to the lines of the back" thus raising it would make edges of the spoiler stick out the only way to get a bigger spoiler is to buy on from a company or ebay. since your not in the states it might be easier to go to a junk yard and see if they have any civics with a spoiler you like or something if you dont want to spend that much.
