Rack and Pinion Replacement on 2007 Honda Civic EX

Good morning all.

I have a remanufactured rack and pinion to install on my 2007 Honda Civic. I am wondering if I have to drop the exhaust to get it out. I have found a video and write ups for earlier models, including a 2006 Si, but I want to make sure of what needs to be done for this model. Any help or guidance will be greatly appreciated.



OK, found a 2006 Civic FSM online. Gonna have to give it a go. Wish me luck!

update. Got it out ok going by the 2006 FSM. It is noteworthy that some of the bolt sizes are not correct. For instance, they will say its a 12mm bolt and it ends up really being a 17mm bolt... Starting installing the replacement part tonight.
