Rear Console Thing??

Hello I am new to this website! I came here for a bit of help. There is a somewhat moveable plastic piece that I can't figure it what it is and how to use it. I am able to slide it upwards with some force but only about 1/4 of an inch. I will attach a picture. Thank you for reading!

thats where the rear ash tray sits if yours came equiped with it

I'm pretty sure its the access panel for adjusting the parking brake.

yes its also that but the rear ashtray sits there also if your car didn't have it installed they will jsut have a block off plate in place of it

i just pulls open if you have it if not there will be a block off plate in place of it, EX models typically came with these types of accessories other models didn't have but have the option to have one
