rear garnish removal

Hey CC, I'm going to paint the black trim on my 98 dx hatchback and I need help taking out the rear license plate garnish. I got as many screws as I could but there is still a single circular clip in the middle and I don't know how to remove it. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

Open your trunk and look up at the top of the trunk, behind the plate garnish there should be 2 or 3 bolts holding the garnish to the trunk on the left and right side, remove those and it should come right off.

I remember taking my garnish off as well. I made the mistake of not taking those back screws off and busted my garnish to hell.
