I have a problem with a broken knob (rear drivers side) that releases the seat so it can be dropped down on my 1988 Honda Civic wagon. I tried to put a screw into the end of the plastic piece that is now down into the hole where the knob should protrude from, but it would not pull up, so that didn't work. I thought that if I could pull it up with the screw then I could just screw a similar looking knob onto the end down in the hole.
But, shee -za no work. I really hate to start pulling fabric off the seat to get to it.
