keep a resonator, it keeps the exhaust from having a raspy sound.

don't remove your resonator. i removed mine for a while and it made my car so so loud i couldn't stand it. I ended up putting one from a different car on my car. (i took mine off in the 1st place because it had holes in it)

I noticed that when I took off my resonator, that my exhaust got deeper. It also got louder but It sounds meaner.

the only thing that realy matters is the diamater and if its strait through and if it the kind thats baffled then you will lose a lot of power and the longer the resenator or muffler the quieter your car will be, you can use a glass pack it will work much like a resenator and be strait thourgh and they are only like 20 bucks...

muffler shop, parts store, just get a good one thats directional and not just perferated; use it in conjuction with whatever muffler you plan to use...

i bought a full exhaust for my civic and i got a illegal cat for it. the cat is straight through can that be the reason my car is zapping? if so keep your resinator on
