Hey guys,

My car was due to replace the ignition key lock/tumbler. I just finished up installing it. I went to go test it and car started, but I had to turn the key with some force and it doesn't spin as easily as the stock one, the key also doesn't spring back into the II slot. If left there, it'll stay in the III slot.

Just wondering if I installed it correclty or if there is anything else I need to do so that it operates like the stock one.

Any tips/ help would be great.

well, figured out the problem with that. I had to get a new spring that goes into the tumbler which makes it turn back on it's own.

That is fixed. The next problem is that for some reason, the stupid "beep beep beep" that usually lets you know that you left your key in the ignition and have the door open...won't stop beeping.

I've replaced everything that was needed. Any help into this or how to disable the beeping?

Still beeps.

I think i'm just going to hit up the junk yard and get a whole new ignition switch..the entire assembly. Nothing works right. I'm so pissed.
