did you resize those? cause the top one is like 30k and the others are 300k and the second one is 640x450 which is a really weird size. i;ll do one in a bit but if you have originals, post those.

what effect? you mean the glowy thing that he stole err... found out from magic8ball?

To do the "soft" effect, duplicate the layer you wanna "soften" go to "Image > Adjustments Brightness/Contrast" bring the constrast up quite a bit, bring the brightness up to where the white is really bright, it ok, go to "Filter > Blur > Gausin Blur" do it by 3 pixels, change the type to overlay..
