I have a 98 EJ6 with a OBDII GSR motor. I took out the old IM and got the first gen Skunk2(type r replica I believe). Head is stock, block has ITR pistons. I'm currently running an OBDI P72 with the OBDIIa to OBDI harness. What would be the best ecu to use? A buddy of mine has a OBDI P28 with Type R basemap for sale for 120 bucks. Would this be a good ECU to use? If I buy this ecu I don't want to be buying anymore ecu's.
