i was thinking about picking up a set of the xxr 002 15x7 for my 93 Civic si
how can i tell what size or what kind of offset to get..its going to be sitting pretty low so yea
i have no idea how to calculate what kind of offset to get so it wont rub..maybe i can go 15x8

it rubbing depends on, not only the offset, but the suspension, suspension height, the tire size, and if you decide to roll, pull, or do both to your fenders.

saying you'll be pretty low doesn't really let us know where your car will sit from the ground. On my 5th gen civic i had 15x7.5 with +30 offset with 195/50 tires. Being slammed i needed to roll my fenders, but if i was maybe a inch or so higher up i would have been alright riding on my FnF type 1 coilovers.

Suspension is a very detailed subject, and wheel diameter, width, and offset require some thought to get it right.
The offset of the wheel is the distance from the center of the wheel to the mounting face of the wheel (in mm).
