rpm (car jerking)

wen im stop and put in the clutch or place it to nutrl the rpms stay at 1000 or 800....and wen im going the gears go in good but the car starts to jerk or pull....would the altrnater b going bad or spark plugs? the spark plugs r 2 months old...

more details.. when is it jerking? Seems like it's idling fine.... def would not be alternator, and most likely not plugs either. If anything right now sounds like motor mounts...

Any CEL codes? Did you install the recommended NGK spark plugs and check their gap?

How old are the plug wires, cap, and rotor? Is the ignition timing set to spec?

id say prob motor mounts because my 98 coupe does the same s**t cuz the mounts are bad.
