Rubber cap camshaft replace

Could you help me ? how to replace the rubber cap camshaft of a civic dohc
when it replace the rubber cap must destroy to extract out of camshaft holder
hmm...if you loosen the bolts on the cam caps, and slightly lift the cam, you should be able to slide it out without breaking anything. otherwise, the inner groove on the cam seal should not let you pull it out.

is it a ls or vtec head. if it is a ls then you just take the that single cam cap off which i think is two 10mm bolts and switch out the cam seal and bolt it back down to spec. if its a vtec head then i would take the long cam cap off and then that single one which covers teh cam seal. it is a really easy job and pretty quick. i dont know about all that hammering.

oh god, just buy another cam seal..... what are they like 8 bucks from honda?
he said that he wants to replace it. just doesn't know how.
