Seafoam?

Currently, my d16y7 is throwing the Cat code, meaning my cat is not running at full efficiency. I've read that seafoam can clean out various parts of your engine, as well as a cat. Does anyone have experience using seafoam? Would i have to spray or pour it directly into the cat, or just run it through the engine? Any expertise on this would be great, I'm just looking to get rid of the check engine light and pass smog.

hey was goinn on im out in oakland, your right across the water. usually when you seafoam a car, with the old liquid, you pour a third innto your gas tank, a third into your engine oil, and then a third into your brake booster i believe, the last part you have to do while the car is on so you'll need help. check out youtube also to get some ideas on what it looks like and what you should do
