Should I sand between clear coats

hmm....i guess you could if the clearcoats are bubbly. even if they're not, it may make your clear coat reflect more.

i say go wetsand with 2000..maybe even step it down to 4000 lightly. dont take anything off just a lil bit..between coats, 2-3 coats depending on what ur painting...

No, unless they have imperfections or overflow. But no!

I'm assuming your painting grilles/lip/skirts/mirrors? If you're clearcoating a touched up paint on your body use a rubbing compound and clay instead of wetsanding in between coats then polishing cream on your final clear coat.
