Silver window moldings removal

hi i Got a 4dr. and its got those Silver moldings around the Windows,just on the Sides of the car.are these removable? will it look decent when i remove them?Or can they be painted black?

take them off and then paint them black

You could probably swap them out with those from a DX sedan, which were black.

thats what i did was the electrical tape. works fine. noone can notice the difference either.

my boy has a 4dr wit silver moldings, do it, looks better than normal.
