you DO know that when you boost a VTEC engine, VTEC is literally eliminated and is unnoticable.

Yes it does....you can tune to feel or not feel the VTEC. While it might not be noticable, it DEFINATLY is there....its due to the different lobes on the cam. As long as the oil pressure is right, and your over your VTEC engage rpm's, then it will definitly kick in......it just depends on how its set up if you feel it or not.....

I've been to the CMI's norcal vs socal and saw a SOHC turbo hatch hitting 11's or high 10's. Just thought i add that

the sohc vtec's may be great great for turbo, but how much boost should it have if it's still a daily driven car? I've been looking dohc vtec. but I wouldn't mind keeping what i have if it's not gonna kill my motor.

They got a white hatch featured in a magazine this month (forgot what magazine) and its runnin a SOHC turbo setup and he's hittin 11's and pushing 325hp. www.turbod16.com Thats a good site that someone gave me.

turbo d = $1200 = 180hp

and a properly tuned boosted d will last a good long while without upgraded internals
i have video at my house of my friend w/JDM d15b(130hp)and with greddy turbo making 203whp stock at 10psi!!!!!but he dont run on 10 usally stays at 7-8psi driving

I would rather have a boosted sohc than a dohc.
