Something spining when I want start my car???

Everytime I want to start my car all I hear is something spinning but the motor won't start?
Could it be the starter or something? Any Help plz

just check if it has spark and fuel. If you have that then you should take off the starter and check to see if it is worn. Its prob just not enjaging the flywheel.

yea the bendix could be frozen up, I see it alot with starters that come in for me to test.

That happened to me recently. In the end, it turned out I had just flooded the engine for the first time in 12 years. See your owners manual for proper clearing procedures.
