Speed limit civic ex 98

hi

i have a civic coupe ex 98 v-tec, this one is limited to 190 km / h. and i want to remove the limiter.

i read that there is a speed limit defence (sld by HKS) but no one here in argentina have proved yet, so i don´t know if it works or not!
does anyone has experience taking out the limiter? is this (SLD by HKS) the only way?
need help!!

I asked your reason for wanting to drive at a very unsafe speed in a Civic. You made no mention of racing on a track and instead came back with a smart ass answer. My conclusion is that what you say is not believable and that you are both immature and irresponsible.

Man i understand what you saying. he just asked a question. you dont have to blast the dude for that. if he choose to go really fast and f**k up somebody and their or himself, thats something that he will have to deal with.

First, I didn't blast him. Please read my posts. Second, just because someone asks a question, doesn't mean it should be answered. In fact, in some cases like this one, it would be just plain irresponsible to answer the question. Use good judgment and do the right thing.

You are correct. You have no obligation to answer any of my questions. Conversely, I don't have to answer yours. I also would recommend that all members of this forum avoid answering your question. In fact, I have taken this a step further by reporting this thread in hopes that a moderator will close it because this action has the potential to save someone's life.

Are you an experienced race car builder who can't figure out something as simple as disabling a speed limiter? Hmmm...something doesn't seem right here.
