Speedo needle was just working. Now its not

So i just took off the riceer cluster cover that came with the car, to reveal the OEM cluster. The speedo was working when I had the ricer crap on.

Now it doesnt tell me how fast im going.

Yes its plugged in properly
Yes I cleaned the plug out with air spray
Still no go


Any ideas guys. The ricer cluster cover was wired so it can light up blue. i took out all those wires. I tried the speedo with the wires, nothing. then i took the wires out, still nothing. So I dont think that factors in.

Also the CEL comes on when I start the car. But turns off like it should. All the cluster lights work on the car. The temp gauge works, and im assuming the gas does too. It cant be a VSS, it was just working 5min ago
