1996 honda civic ex 5spd 122k
okay all this started this am went to start my car and it was cranking away and sorta sounded like it was backfiring in intake so just kept cranking away till battery died got a jumpbox unpluged Map sensor and booyah started but would heisitate while driving down highway could just feel it This started the day before when car started and i would hit the gas it would die .........please help and thanks in advance

Have you changed your plugs recently?? ....replace the sensor with new one.....

Could be a fuel delivery issue...could be a spark issue....
