i drive a 99 civic SE, 1.6L non vtec, automatic. sometimes it takes about 6 tries to get my car to turn over. it stalls quite often too, maybe 3 - 4 times every 100km.. it seems to only happen when im coming to a complete stop or leaving a stop sign or slowing down. it is only the engine that shuts off, power steering goes and the brake pedal stiffens while the gas pedal falls limp. but then it will start back up & work good again.. i've never ran it low on oil, gets its oil changes. any idea what this could be?
