Swap question: Will D16Y8 ecu and vtec subharness work with LS B18 motor

will a d16y8 ecu and vtec subharness work with a ls b18 motor or would i need a new wiring harness and ecu all together?

if the motors are the same obd1 or obd2 then the harnesses will work, the ecu wont work though.

your car should start ok with the p2p ex ecu, but its best to run a ls obd2b ecu cause of the different fuel maps or you can also run a obd2-obd1 conversion harness with a chipped ecu so you can tune it in the future.
