Long story short, this ish worked like gangbusters!

They say it'll work on any faded or foggy plastic so I actually used it on my el-cheapo ebay visors that, after a few years, became all sun beaten, faded and nasty.

$10 bucks at Advance Auto Parts.

It was a fairly simple, yet tedious and time consuming process that involved 6 steps:
-spray on surface activator (loosens oxidation)
-wet sanding, using 3 different grit sandpapers
-clarifying compound that you buff in
-UV clear coat

All in all i think i spent about an hour and a half to do all 4 visors. The more meticulous you are with the sanding, the better the results. It comes with a lifetime guarantee, and according the Consumer Reports review it proved to be the longest lasting. I guess we'll just have to see....

On with some pictures...

Prep. They included a little roll of electrical tape to tape off any painted edges, but i used masking tape instead:

After a good amount of wet-sanding:

I was gonna take more step-by-step pics, but after this point I totally just got into the zone and just said eff-it to pictures! haha

Anyhow, here's some before & afters:

I am super thrilled with the results! Pictures dont do them justice. They seriously look brand new now. However, knowing what i know now, i definitely would've spent even MORE time on the sanding steps.

So i guess the moral of the story is: DONT BUY CHEAP EBAY VISORS! hahaha

One more just for the hayell of it:
