the delsol and the s2000 are two different ballpark figures... the prelude is just way out there LMFAO. The prelude got cut cause of low sales, the Del-Sol got cut when the CRX was cut... I highly doubt the S2000 was a "replacement" for the delsol.

The Reason Why I Said The Prelude Is Becuse I Herd It.. I Didnt Say For Myself That I Thought It Was The Replacement.... But Wait I Thought Crx's Were Discontinued Way Back In 91 Becuase The Civic Cx's Came Out

I've always hear and understood it to be that though the vehicles are not different generations of the same car that the S2000 grew off the idea of the S2000 and older S-series Hondas from years ago. I could see both the del Sol and the S200 being influenced by these vehicles though.

S360 - Developed for sale in 1962 but never produced.

S500 - 1963–1964 (Also the first production car made by Honda.)

S600 - 1964–1966

S800 - 1966–1970

And just for kicks, an S800 RSC Spec race car.

The s2k was not a replacement for anything...just a new car honda came up with to give them a chance in the 2 seater sports car convertable market.

CRX led to the Del Sol....

S2000 is a continuation of the older S series....

No relation between the Del Sol and the S2k....

And the styling ques don't really mean anything.... Companies make lines of products that have the same design mainly because they have the same designers... Not because they are related....

With that roaring... 70 hp?

Code:
[B]Model & Years	Motor HP@RPM Top Speed[/B]
'93-'64 S500	531 cc DOHC I4 (Carb) 44@8000 80 mph
'64-'66	S600	606 cc DOHC I4 (Carb) 57@9500 90 mph
'66-'70 S800	791 cc DOHC I4 70@8000 100 mph
Though the S500 only weighed 1500 and the convertible form of the S600 weighed 1576.

I'd be curious on who would import one of these cars and then manage to figure out how to fit a swap into it and pay for all of that. ;)

They were models made for Japan though some were also later found in Australia and I read that six S600s found their way to the UK as did six S800s (for promotional reasons I believe).
