The IAC valve only controls the idle, it won't change the way it runs.

I'll bet the problem is with the exhaust, either the muffler or cat converter.
They can rust out and cause a blockage with something inside moveing around.
When I removed my muffler it sounded like a can of rocks when I shook it.
My car runs better with a new one on it now.

muffler has be changed and the cat was checked when i had my muff put on and it was legit, and my idle acts very strange some times, goes as low as 500 so...

Well the iacv is on, very easy install took like 10 minutes all that was needed was a 12mm socket and some pliers, only drove the car for 1/2 mile so i cant really tell how much of a help it was to replace it, but i guess if it doesn't hurt it helps

you could have put a knick in the valve, does it seem like it's missing, if not the i would try the tps sensor and the fuel injectors

I used to have the same problem, and change a lot of stuff, then my alternator wasn't charging my battery so I change it for a rebuild one and it solve both problems, just try that you can get yourself an used one for about 25-30 bucks from the wreck yard. let us know if it work

man u can check the tps yourself dont pay for that s**t... al u do is u take the rivited studs out and get bolts or screws to hold the tps sensor in.. losen the bolts/screws and check the voltage between the middle wire of the 3 on the connector and ground. should be around .5 on idle and ~4.5v on WOT.
