cel came on yeterday for no apartent reason, read it and it said p1337, CSFsensor no signal. but i dont know what that means. im assuming it has somthing to do with the crank shaft position sensor? although the car still runs which it wouldnt if that senor was busted. any thoughts would be great

I am going to guess its somewhere around your crank, by the sound of the code, its unhooked or the wire got cut. I say crawl under there and look for something hanging or loose.

looked all over chiltons and there is not a sensor on the crankshaft that i can see...
maybe they forgot it in the pics, but i looked on a b16a3 and i couldnt see it either.
it might be internal? :what:
hope you figured it out

hm..this is what i found about p1337;

P1337 Engine Speed (RPM) Fluctuation Sensor No Signal

what is the flashing code? (ie long-blink, long-blink, short-blink = 21)

The only codes i'm seeing in the helms manual are:

p0335- Crankshaft position sensor circuit
p0336- Range/peformance problem within the crankshaft position sensor

p1361-intermittent interruption in the top dead center sensor circuit
p1362-no signal from top dead center circuit

p1381-Intermittent interruption in the Cylinder position sensor (CYP)
p1382-no signal from Cylinder position sensor (CYP)

hope that helps...8)
