Timeing Help!!!!

HEY GUYS I WAS WONDERING IF U GUYS COULD TELL ME HOW to time my vtec i put a new timeing belt on the new motor and when i started it up it fired right up but feels a bit slugish sometimes so i was wondering if u guys have any suggestions on how to time it the right way i aso have an adjustible cam too so if n e one can help it would be great

did you check the ignition timing with a timing gun?

is the timing right, vtec doesn't have to be timed, it goes off the basic principal of the cam timing, it doesn't come loose from the cam with a separate timing. Make sure the mechanical timing and the ignition timing are right.
