Timing belt tensioner bolt sucks!!!!

Alright, for the past week I've been trying to get the timing belt tensioner bolt out cause it got rounded off and its useless now. I already picked up a new bolt I just cant seem to find a way to get the old one out. Ive tried vise grips, and also the craftman bolt-out socket set, but nothing is working.

I know you guys aren't stupid and know what bolt I'm talking about, but I put the picture for reference. Any suggestions or help would be awesome cause I want my car running again

use a pipe wrench, that will grip any stripped bolt

Alright, I've been searching around the net for alternatives. I've read that you could weld a nut to the head of the damaged bolt. How does that sound?

a pipe wrench would do it, it'll grip any surface.

Good luck getting a good weld in such a tight spot. Just go to walmart and buy a 10 dollar pipe wrench.
