Total Lunar Eclipse Tonight

tonight starting around 11:30pm EST... there will be a total lunar eclipse...

this is where the moon is in the total shadow of the earth. it will turn a reddish color.

the eclipse process will last about 3 hours... if you have never seen one with your own eyes... i recommend it.. although not as exciting as a solar eclipse... but still... you can watch it gor from full bright moon... to dark and red...and then back to white bright.. in a matter of a few hours.

apparently... all of north america will be able to view it if you have a clear sky.

also the stratosphere is as clear as its been in over 50 years no volcanic aerosols so it will be nice and bright.

its snowing here for the first time this year... of course on a lunar eclipse. saw the last one that happened ad tried to take pictures of it. i failed.

but whats even cooler then that is being able to see jupiter's rings with any cheap telescope till january with uranus rite next to it.
