tranny problemm!!

i have a 02 honda civic ex coupe automatic
does anybody kno how much does a new tranny cost? or to get it fixed?

it starts off good but when it shifts i feels like it kicks and the car slows down ..(its an automatic tranny)

i did check the tranny mount.. but it might be bcus i lowered the suspention ...can that affect the tranny?

That will not effect the tranny in any way... Have you also checked your tranny fluid? Low fluids would also cause this symptom.

I have a 2001.5 Civic EX Coupe AT and my tranny just died out too. I don't know exactly what the problem is. First I think the car lost 1st. Instead of shifting into drive I would have to shift 2nd and the 3D and then D. Then one evening it just died out.
It also makes a bit of a whinning noise.
OBD reader says "Manufacture Transmission Control"
Any ideas?

As for getting it fixed ... shop around at tranny places to get the best price. Look at $1000 or more for a rebuilt is my guess.
